<p>Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, will be the guest preacher on Sunday, August 16, at the West Tisbury Congregational Church.</p>

Rev. Raphael Warnock, senior minister at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, will be the guest preacher on Sunday, August 16, at the West Tisbury Congregational Church. This will be Mr. Warnock’s seventh summer visit to the church, led by Rev. Cathlin Baker.

Ms. Baker and Mr. Warnock were students together at Union Theological Seminary in New York city, and have continued their long relationship by sharing each other’s pulpits. Earlier this spring Ms. Baker preached at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Recently, it was reported that Mr. Warnock is considering a run for the U.S. Senate.

Services begin at 10 a.m. but get there early to save a spot in the pew.
