Two events focusing on taxes are planned for early March. The Oak Bluffs library hosts an AARP tax aid program that is arranged by appointment by calling the Oak Bluffs Council on Aging at 508-693-4509 extension 3. The tax help is available on Tuesday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the library.

In Tisbury, the town assistant tax assessor Ann Marie Cywinski will present information on eligibility for property tax exemption and how to apply for Tisbury residents age 65 and older. She will talk at the Tisbury senior center on Monday, March 2, beginning at 1 p.m. For more information, call 508-696-4205.
