Appraisers from Skinner Inc. come to the Vineyard to evaluate your prized possessions on Friday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 6.

Friday’s event, to be held at a private Chilmark home at 5 p.m., will feature wine and hors d’oeuvres and each guest is invited to bring one object for appraisal. On Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, folks can bring their prized objects for appraisal and may choose to have items consigned for sale by Skinner with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the museum.

The cost for Friday’s event is $50. On Saturday, the price is $15 to have one item appraised or three items for $40.
