<p>Members of the Tri-Town Ambulance Department are suiting up for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The volunteers picked up custom-made shirts featuring the Island encircled by a pink breast cancer ribbon during a meeting on Wednesday.</p>

Members of the Tri-Town Ambulance Department are suiting up for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The volunteers picked up custom-made shirts featuring the Island encircled by a pink breast cancer ribbon during a meeting on Wednesday. The Tri-Town Ambulance Benevolent Association will also be making a donation to the Martha’s Vineyard Breast Cancer Support Group.

“There are a lot of organizations out there, but we felt the best one was the one on the Island,” Chilmark EMT Alan Ganapol said during the meeting.

The shirts are also available to the public, and can be purchased for $20 at the West Tisbury Public Safety Building. Proceeds will be combined with the benevolent association’s donation.
