Comic juggler Bill Ross entertains while the kids munch popcorn and gear up for this year’s summer reading programs on Saturday, July 5, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury.

The Martha’s Vineyard Library Association sponsors this summer reading program kickoff every year, keeping the emphasis on honing those skills throughout the summer, lest the fall find us all unprepared. Admission is $4 and the day is perfect for families and for face painting, and maybe a little friendly reading competition.
