The Moth is returning to the Vineyard for the third straight summer. The Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs will once again play host to the live storytelling performances hosted by the NPR show on Saturday, August 9.

The Moth is returning to the Vineyard for the third straight summer. The Tabernacle in Oak Bluffs will once again play host to the live storytelling performances hosted by the NPR show on Saturday, August 9.

This year's show is entitled Great Expectations. It will be hosted by Ophira Eisenberg and features storytellers Charlayne Hunter-Gault, Arthur Bradford, Mary Lou Piland and Arnie Reisman.

Ms. Hunter Gault is has been a longtime correspondent and bureau chief for NPR and CNN. Mr. Bradford is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker who created and developed the acclaimed documentary series How’s Your News. He also served as co-director of Camp Jabberwocky on Martha’s Vineyard for seven years.

Ms. Piland works at the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and is part of the Wednesday night writers group held at the house of author Cynthia Riggs. Arnie Reisman is a regular panelist on NPR’s Says You! and a columnist for the Vineyard Gazette.
