The photo collection of the Martha’s Vineyard Museum takes the foreground in a new book by chief curator Bonnie Stacy titled Martha’s Vineyard. The book provides a local record from the 1840s to the 1970s, and many of the photos have never been published.

Ms. Stacy will talk about the book and share images from it at a book launch on Tuesday, May 14, at 5:30 p.m. in the museum library, 59 School street in Edgartown. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. The book will be available in the museum’s gift shop.
