The Edey Foundation is accepting applications to fund nonprofit conservation and environmental programs.

Submissions that relate to ongoing conservation, energy education and scientific studies are welcome. The foundation does not fund construction or building projects.

The foundation was founded by the late Maitland Edey of Seven Gates Farm. In 2013 it gave approximately $74,000 to 13 Island organizations for a range of activities, including education programs for the public and for school children, conservation advocacy, research and water bird protection.
