The Aquinnah special town meeting was postponed Thursday night after the meeting failed to gather a quorum. Moderator Michael Hebert called the meeting just after 7:15 p.m. Only 26 of  39 voters needed to reach a quorum attended the meeting. Mr. Hebert said the meeting would be rescheduled at a later date by the board of selectmen.
