On behalf of the friends of Tim Fullin fundraiser committee, we would like to thank all for the outpouring of support on Saturday, Nov. 3. The night was full of great food, great items but most important great family, friends and love!

Edgartown-West Tisbury Road is a tough one to cross. It’s busy with traffic from both directions. My infant grandson and I waited with the stroller off at the side waiting for a clear, safe passage. The wide, paved bike path on the other side is perfect for long stroller walks. Cars of all sorts drove by from left and right. We waited. Then a big, blue work truck stopped and waved us across. Phew! On our walk every time we crossed a street it was the big trucks and a bus that went out of their way to stop and let us pass. I think the children’s books about the big friendly trucks and machines that save the day are true!
