The all-Island club MV Table Tennis started its new season of play Sept. 13 at the West Tisbury School. The club, which is open to players of all ages and skill levels, will play weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays at West Tisbury, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and at the Vineyard YMCA Saturdays and Sundays, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Eight of the group’s 50-plus players are rated by USA Table Tennis, the sport’s national organization, and compete in sanctioned tournaments throughout New England. For more information, call 508-627-7902.
