For those of you looking for kittens the Animal Shelter of Martha’s Vineyard has two seven-week-old part Balinese kittens. Both are females — one black and the other black with white paws — who need socializing. They were very shy when they came to the shelter; they were born in a wood pile but with a lot of TLC they are slowly learning to trust people.

Owl is a purebred all-white Persian, up to date on all her shots and spayed. She is declawed so needs to be an indoor cat. She is quite shy but needs a warm lap and someone with patience to love her; she is very gentle and sweet.

There is one dog: Sophie, a springer spaniel cross, five years old and spayed. There are two sweet male hamsters who come with their own cage, toys and food; they should stay together because they are very attached to each other.
